We are going to take a trip to Memphis and tour St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and you are invited!  On Saturday, February 28,2009 we will be touring the hospital, the new Chili’s Care center, the Danny Thomas Pavillion and stop by the gift shop.  If you would like to attend, or for more information, email us at birmingham@friendsofstjude.org or rebecca.nichols@stjude.org  The deadline is Friday, February 6th, so check your calendars and let us know. 

Thanks to everyone who came out to the Friends of St. Saturday Shuck.  We had a great time, gained new members, met new people and most importantly raised money for the kids at St. Jude.  We would like to thank Smith’s Oysters & Steaks for their support and of course their amazing food.  We would also like to thank 1025 The Bull, CBS 42, Birmingham Beverage Co. and Supreme Beverage Co.  Our next FOSJ event will be in January, so make sure to keep checking the website for more details.
