On Tuesday, February 16th, the Chicago Friends of St. Jude is hosting its first Carnival event with Texas de Brazil.  Join us for food, drinks, and live entertainment!  Tickets for the event are $25 which include two signature drinks, Texas de Brazil’s signature meat appetizers, and entertainment by Chicago Samba.  The event is from 6:00 PM until 8:30 PM.

Additionally, the requirements for membership in the Chicago Friends of St. Jude are as follows:

• Sell FIVE Harvest Moon Tickets

• Obtain FOUR silent auction items for Under the Harvest Moon

• Attend THREE events

• Pay the $25 membership dues

• Join ONE Friends of St. Jude committee

Join us on January 14th for the 2010 Friends of St. Jude Kickoff Meeting at the Mystic Celt (3443 N. Southport Ave — just north of the Southport Brown Line stop)!  Please plan on arriving at 6PM for drinks.  At 6:30 PM, we’ll start the meeting in the back dining area. 

At the meeting, we will discuss the schedule of events for 2010, committees, membership, and introduce the new executive committee.  See you there!
