St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is the charity ranked highest in trust in the United States, according to a public survey conducted by the international research firm Harris Interactive. "This is an affirmation of the value of the lifesaving work St. Jude Children's Research Hospital has been conducting for almost 50 years," said Dr. William E. Evans, CEO and director of St. Jude.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED for the Great Urban Race-DC Date: Saturday, May 15, 2010 Event Times: 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. The Great Urban Race is a wacky urban adventure. Teams of two solve twelve clues, have a wild city adventure and complete fun challenges while discovering Washington, DC in a fresh new way. As Friends of St. Jude, we are a unique network of young professionals in the Washington, DC area dedicated to the mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The purpose of our group is to raise funds to support the lifesaving work done at St. Jude. In addition, our goals are to increase awareness of St. Jude within our local community, provide local volunteer support and create an engaging environment where young professionals with a common interest of supporting this great cause.
