Interested in Volunteering at the St. Jude Memphis Marathon?
November 23rd, 2009Friends of St. Jude- Memphis will be working an aid station at mile three on Saturday, December 5, the morning of the race. More details will be announced but volunteers will need to be at the aid station at Peabody Place on Third Street between 7:00 and 7:30am. The shift will be over around 10:30am. Duties will include mixing PowerAde, filling and handing cups to the runners and cleanup. All volunteers who sign up by the deadline below will receive a free t-shirt.
If you would like to volunteer, please send your name, email address, phone number and t-shirt size to Tracy Brandenberger at tbrandenberger@achfood.com by 5:00pm Monday, November 30, 2009. Volunteer sign ups will still be accepted after 5:00 on the 30th, but you may not be able to get the free shirt.
We will also need volunteers to take down banners on Monday, December 7th. Please email Ashley Cole at ashley.cole@stjude.org if you are interested in this volunteer opportunity.

Tour St. Jude
November 9th, 2009Join us this Thursday, November 12 at 6pm for a tour of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital….see the incredible work they are doing first-hand!
A short membership session will directly follow the tour to explain what it actually means to be a member of FOSJ! New executive board applications will be available for the 2011 year.
