1. When is the cruise? What time does the cruise start?
The NYC Friends of St Jude Spring Cruise 2008 takes place on Saturday, May 17. The boat sails off at 1:00pm SHARP, but the fun kicks off when we start boarding 12:30pm. Arrive early to ensure you don’t miss the boat!
2. What should I wear?
There is no dress code, however cruise/boat wear is encouraged, but not required.
3. Where is the cruise?
The cruise is located on board the Atlantica Yacht. The entrance is located at Pier 17 North at the South Street Seaport. The Atlantica will cruise around the island of Manhattan.
4. What can I expect aboard the Atlantica?
The Atlantica is a brand new tri-level Yacht complete with a cocktail lounge, dining salon, dance floor and, of course, observation decks that provide a 360 view of your very own New York City.
5. What will be provided as far as food/drinks/entertainment?
There will be a food tasting provided by fantastic local restaurant sponsors, drinks and live music by Huck and a DJ. All aboard!
6. Who is Huck?
Music will be provided by this talented musician from Long Island, NY- Huck. Huck’s music has been heard on Dawson’s Creek and MTV’s Real World. This artist’s who has been commended to “sing like a 40-year old blues rocker” has been heard all over the country. Please visit his website to learn much more: www.hucksongs.com
7. What happens if it rains?
The cruise will on go rain or shine, because the Atlantica is fully enclosed and protected from the elements. Do not assume that because it is raining the cruise is cancelled. In the unlikely event that a cruise has to be cancelled because local authorities have closed the harbor, all confirmed passengers will be contacted in advance and a rain check will be issued to sail on another date.
8. Where is the after party?
The after party will be held directly after the cruse until 7pm at Sequoia. Sequoia is conveniently located on Pier 17. Drink specials will be available.

10. How come I don’t see a charge to my credit or debit card immediately after having purchased a ticket, made a donation or become a sponsor?
Transactions may take up to two weeks to be processed, at which time you will see it reflected in your statement. You will however, be receiving an immediate confirmation number of your purchase via e-mail. If you do not receive this confirmation, please try purchasing your ticket(s) and/or make your donation once again via the website.
